Regular Worship Services
Our main service is at 10.30am on Sunday and over the Month we have a variety of services, all of which reflect something different of the amazing God we gather together to worship.
1st Saturday: 10am-12
Our largest congregation, regularly attracting over 100
Lots of crafts, games and activities for all ages to discover something of God’s character and love. Finishes with a short act of worship and a good lunch.
All Children must be accompanied by an adult.
1st Sunday: 1030am
A service where we go deeper into Worship, Deeper into God’s word and Deeper into Prayer.
This service is a service of the Word and more informal in character.
Groups for our children and pre school meet in the hall and upper room during the service.
1st Sunday: 630pm
A creative, reflective and artistic service where we go use poetry, music and art to reflect on God, scripture and the Holy Spirit.
The service has some guided music, songs and hymns and plenty of space for us to respond creatively to God.
2nd Sunday: 1030am
A traditional robed Anglican service of Holy Communion with Bible Readings, Hymns and Songs, Prayers, a sermon and the sharing of Bread and wine at the Lord’s table (Holy Communion).
This service uses creative liturgy that marks the seasons of the church year and is slightly more thoughtful and reflective in character.
During the service groups for our children and pre school meet in the hall and upper room. Our young people join us for communion.
3rd Sunday: 1030am
Our shorter service suitable for all ages and stages of faith.
Usually quite lively with our large worship band leading the way!
When we have a baptism it is usually in this service.
4th Sunday 1030am
A contemporary explorative service of Holy Communion with Bible Readings, Hymns and Songs, Prayers, a sermon and the sharing of Bread and Wine. Together we explore the Communion Meal using different liturgies and styles of worship.
During the service we have a creche for the pre-schoolers, Children’s Church children - the groups meet in the hall and and join the service later on.
The service is creative and informal but pays attention to the deep structures of the communion liturgy.
5th Sunday: 1030am
A creative occasional service where we take time to respond to what God is doing in our life, community and church.
Anything could happen!
To mark the season of the church year we have a number of special services, from Ash Wednesday, to Easter, From Harvest to Remembrance and from Advent through until Christmas
